VNG Teacher Spotlight: Nora Rogers

Nora Rogers is a Science teacher at Freeman High School in Katy ISD, and is the VNG Science Teacher of the Month for January 2026. This means she engaged with the VNG more than any other Science teacher, nationwide!

Nora uses the VNG in a variety of ways to reach her emergent bilingual (EB) and non-EB students. Nora says:

I love using the images on the VNG to make reference sheets for my EB students and have recently started making bingo-type cards so that students can practice saying the words. There’s so many different ways to use these images; it’s a fantastic resource.
