VNG Teacher Spotlight: Estrella Hernandez
Estrella Hernandez received the award for Math Teacher of the Month for May. Estrella is a 3rd-Grade bilingual teacher at Metcalfe Elementary School in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. Every day in her lessons, Estrella models the power of bilingual education, using the English and Spanish Math visuals to get all students proficient in Math academic language, in both Spanish and English. Her students show growth throughout the school year from the positive environment she creates.
